The Problem

OFX was building its own Application User Interfaces (API) products. To promote these API Products, a gateway is required to provide product information, documentation and a customer portal for configuring API applications.

The Solution

OFX Developers is a portal designed specifically to cater to developer needs which are:

• to evaluate the products by examining its features and specifications
• to start development immediately
• to find references for development
• to review usage statistics and analytics

What We Learned

After the initial user research, it was apparent that developers focus on specific technical details and API documentation more than general information.

Developers do not appreciate posts, articles or use cases that are outdated, provide no implementation details or convoluted with unnecessary information. One improvement to the site may be to remove blog posts that are no longer updating.
